Money may not bring happiness, but marriage doesn't necessarily bring money! Why do you feel that you have to have one or the other? You need a balance of both. When you meet someone who is balanced, or you can balance each other, then you are probably on the right track! Lack of, and poor management of finances in even the best marital relationships, has been a top reason for divorce in the U.S.. Don't look so hard for Mr. right. Occupy your mind and time with other things. If you try to force it(a relationship), or hurry it along, then you will wind up with the wrong partner! Try to secure your own finances, so that money, or trying to find a rich husband will not be a prime factor. Also, avoid parasite types, even if they look good, and make a lot of promises about what they are going to do! The chances are if they are not fulfilling their dreams when you meet them, they probably won't get around to it once you get into a relationship with them, at least not before they deplete you of your money!

Damn " MiaDiva27" why you come @'em like that!! Marriage is what you make it to be, money should never play a part in your marriage. Love is the best gift provide to us by God. But apparently, you need both. Money is needed to pay your bills and buy food, If done right love will always be there & won't let you down. Take the rich & movie stars for example, If it was just love, how come Nick & Jessica got a divorced?
If it was just money, how come Brad & Jennifer are not still together. Again marriage is what you make of it!!

Need both.
Love isn't love unless two people are the greatest of friends who routinely put each others' needs first, and are brutally honest with themselves before they try to be honest with each other.
Money's easier, and makes it easier until this incredible miracle of love exists.
I finally found it, but it took forever and the gentleman has been through years more of life than I...
And if I rejected him for that, I would have been left with all the immature 30 and 40 somethings.
I'm not perfect, either, but women just have a different viewpoint.

I am sure that money would be a lot easier. A real marriage takes hard work and commitment. Money comes and goes, but love can last a lifetime.

Marriage should be about love and the money will come later.

Money might make somethings easier but nothing beats love and it is what marriage should be about. Stop looking for love and let it find you.

that is a typical woman comment... you figure men are emotionally vacant so might as well go for the wallet... I bet if a guy asked a question like "should marriage be about looks or *ex?" you women would be all over it... if all you are in it for is money... then you are givin it up to a guy for money... *ex for money?... last time I checked, that was called prostitution...
