How come there's a 'trying to concieve' category in the pregnancy group but no abortion assistance one? There isn't one in womens health either.

Is our society so child-centric and anti-choice that we give an open forum for teenagers trying to breed, but none for responsible people who want to make an informed choice about their body?

Oh my. Some of you are soooo dramatic. AHHHHHH you killers. I am going to call you all killers and that will change your mind and opinion. You will forever see it my way if i just say it is a sin, you are killing a baby, yada yada yada. Hey people, it's called an OPINION and personal decision. Until YOU change the law, then you will have to live with the fact that people are having abortions. and YOU can't change that by berating someone on here for needing help and having questions about getting one.
Abortion is something people would like informed answers about, not just Ohhhh you killler... just adopt, or have it, or whatever. Yeah, okay. You are so much help. Do you not think these people have THOUGHT of that???

Opinions are like A$$holes kids, (oh, but it's not an opinion, it's a baby!!!!!)
If you can't answer someones question about needing help with an ABORTION (not adoption, keeping it, birthing it, housing it) then don't answer it!!! THAT is why it needs it's own section.

I agree there should be an abortion assistance catagory. I will always defend each and every females right to choose what happens to her body.

While I personally couldn't have an abortion (I'm currently in the position where I may be pregnant but I'm waiting a few days to do another test) I've been with friends when they've found themselves in the position where they had to make a choice, and gone with them when they decided that a termination would be best.

It's far too easy to judge, and while there are a rare group of females who do sometimes use abortion as an extreme form of contraception, you will find that it's not an easy choice to make. Most females won't have to go through this choice in their lifetime luckily. The ones who do, on the whole, do NOT take it lightly and all the support and advice they can get helps. Even if it is from a total stranger over the internet, sometimes it's easier to talk to a total stranger online than a scary person in a clinical situation or even just your friends.

Well i think that this is a great point you are bringing up. There should def be some type of abortion category for those trying to make a difficult decision. Thats unfortuanate. Considering everytime someone tries to get information on abortion they are accused of being a murderer, and thats def not what they need to hear. It's def ironic how abortion is a legal right that woman have and yet people cant just accept that not everyone is ready for a child or the pain in going through pregnancy to then have it ripped away from you to be adopted where you then go on to worry about what kind of life they have had. Lets face it many children who get adopted end up feeling lost and messed up or are evenplaced into abusive homes.

This is not properly categorized. It is not a a question about pregnancy. It is a question about Yahoo Answers or possibly about society. Since you are not a woman and can never be pregnant, I really have to wonder what your motives are in asking this question.

I will ask, however, how you can consider it "responsiible" to become pregnant if you want to avoid it. There are MANY, MANY ways to avoid pregnancy. It is irresponsible to try to "fix" the problem after you have thrown caution to the wind and found yourself facing the consequences. Make your informed decisions before you get pregnant.

Meanwhile, there are many questions on this pregnancy forum about abortion.

yes-when 75% of Americans identify themselves as Christians.
for most Christians the resulting pregnancy from premarital (or extra-marital)sex is "punishment" for immoral behavior and abortion simply removes the consequences. but by continuing the pregnancy the behavior is delayed due to the pregnancy itself and caring for the infant after birth so it is a win-win for them.
unfortunately most Christians forget this passage---
1 Corinthians 5:12-13a
"What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside."

I guess they didn't read it or just ignore it like so many other passages in the Bible.....like the following:
1Corinthians 14:34-35
Galatians 5:14-15
Romans 2:19-29 and all of chapter 14

The trying to conceive section is a very important one. After trying to have a baby for two years - I needed all the advice I could get as it can be completely frustrating. If someone has a abortion question - it should just go in the pregnancy section.

i agree in full, theres alot of not only confused pregnant teens, but adults as well, that could use a second opinon on the matter, one thats not just going to tell them "your a baby killer, go to hell"

i think its an important topic in todays society that is shunned and i think it should be as open as music and entertainment, ttc, and beer and wine, and more important because it is so contreversial

I agree and then maybe those against abortion can just avoid it instead of making people miserable.

The reason is that there are people and places out in the community for them to deal. If you live online... then maybe you need to be "pro-choice" but there are more americans that are "pro-life" then "pro-choice." (Have a very catholic family i firmly believe in that life is life.)
