There is no set answer for your question. No relationship has to end in divorce. You can also go with your spouse to counseling. If for some reason your spouse is unwilling to get help for your relationship then I personally would consider that a warning sign. If you are not happy and you know that no matter what you are not going to be happy with this person then that may be another warning sign. At this point you need to have a very serious conversation with your spouse to tell them what you are feeling and find out what they are feeling. Find out what you want for the future and where your marriage is heading. Most marriages go through a bad spell. The thing is to work through it. Remind your self why you married this person anyways. This is a team effort. I hope I could help!

I don't think there is ever an exact moment that a person knows it is going to end in divorce. I think if you are having problems in your marriage and have tried everything possible to salvage it and things are not getting better then you probably know it will end in divorce, I think when it gets to that point you then need to reflect on all the positive things that the other person has that made you fall in love with them in the first place and remember that even if the relationship ends and you do end up divorced.

By the way they argue. If people don't stick to the issue, and instead resort to name calling and other disrespectful behavior, divorce is guaranteed. There's nothing wrong with arguing, but hostility during arguments is a very bad sign. Couples who ultimately divorced were more likely to start the dialogue with an attack on their partner's character.

When one or both give up, and don't working on it!
When they forget to "communicate" on what the problem truly is.
When they do not seek marriage counseling through a Bible believing Church.
When they forget that marriage is work in progress forever! When they also forget that a marriage is not only based on feelings; but a life time commitment, two different people "giving" and "taking" from each others weakness and strengths.

When God is taken out of the marriage!

If you are asking this question then the relationship is in danger. If you are wanting to work on the relationship then maybe its time to seek professional help, but you cant do this alone it will take both people in the relationship to want to pull together and fix the wrong

A marriage is over when both of the people stop trying. As you know marriage takes work - when you both stop putting effort in and stop communicating that's when you know you have serious problems. As long as there is still love and you both still care - there is hope, both of you just have to be willing to really work at your relationship
