For my next birthday, I am going to have it at the clubhouse since i've never really had a big party. but i dont know what to do for music. should i get a DJ..or put an iPod on a speaker?? i cant decide. if I got a DJ im afraid they'd play bad music and stuff and my parents would get a little upset. so with an iPod I could pick the songs better..but could you think of any other alternatives for music??

iPod or u be the DJ or have friends take turns being the DJ with the iPod so that they dont put bad music and u can have ppl request songs

If you get a DJ stress that you don't want certain songs played or certain words. Really good DJs can bleep out any bad words or phrases and still make the song sound good.
Ipods are okay, but with DJs you can request songs.

Mix it up, if you're inviting people of all ages. Popular music, classic rock, old standards (ex. Sinatra), disco, country, R&B, mild rap, etc. Get a DJ who will keep to your requests & not just play stuff he likes. The right DJ can also liven up a party.

Play XM Satellite Radio on the speakers! i love XM Radio they have many stations that have no curse words that your parents wouldnt mind.
