If you haven't and want to make Christmas a little special for a needy child, just log onto Samaritan's Purse website. All you do is fill a shoebox full of small items for a boy or girl and drop it off ( the locations will be on the website for your city). It's a great way to get your children involved in giving as well.

Oh yes! we do it every year. A great way to get the kids involved and teach them about giving. My kids would always write a letter and send a picture of themselves along to. Samaritans Purse also has many other ways to help all through the year. They have a website www.samaritanspurse.org and they send out great literature. I have even received great books and daily inspirational things as a thank you from them. It is a great NPO and I am glad you are reminding people. I hope everyone participates this year.
God Bless!!!!!!!!!

My ex bf church did this for school supplies. It is such an awesome thing to do. I think it would be great if the concept were expanded to help children here in the US as well
