You like him, and you know that the person close to him/her would not approve You would like for him/her to say something to you, but will not. He/She looks at you and quickly looks away. Is almost as if you both were on the same page. He/She is very smart, sexy, ideal guy/girl, etc. What would you do?

There's a big gap. There's no way I'd let someone date another person that is 6 years younger than them.

It depends greatly on the actual ages of the guy and gal you're speaking of. Obviously, an 18 YO and a 12 YO are certainly not compatible. I doubt that a 22 YO and a 16 YO are close enough in ages to be a workable arrangement. However, a 30 YO and a 36YO are a completely different story!

The first line suggests that both people are young, and the age and maturity level differentials are significant. It sounds like a parent is likely to have grave doubts about the arrangement. I suggest that one should strongly consider that disapproval factor..

Age shouldn't play a part in your decision. As long are you are both legal adults!!!!!!

6 years is not that much--no big deal at all! If you are interested then make the move. Remember, guys tend to mature slower than girls, so if the guy is younger, you may have some major immaturity to deal with! Good luck

I would initiate a conversation with the person and see how that goes, before deciding anything else. 6 years is a big difference when you are in your 20s or younger, but not such a big deal when you are older. Good luck!

whats up difficulty-loose , you're too youthful for such type of issues.. its high quality to be frnds with this guy.. yet dont imagine too far. YUou nonetheless have diverse study years in the front of you.. concentration on your occupation , once you're on your own , you are able to go out withany one .. 2-3 yrs youthful or older doesnt count number in case you quite like the girl..

if I'm 20ish leave it alone; he/she 14, if I'm 30ish leave it alone he/she early 20's. There's no magic there you say' he/she says nothing to you; looks away quickly. There's no same page; you're too old or too young. Relax and play with the children your own age.
