The only thing wrong with her is PH level. This means she's just a little more acidic than she should be. She can find a PH balancer at her local drug store.

It's best if she wears all-cotton knickers or at least with a cotton gusset. The synthetic fabric of those pretty, sexy knickers can irritate the genital area and cause the discharge; also as sweat etc. doesn't evaporate she's running the risk of infection, cystitis etc. She should see a doctor just to make sure there isn't anything to worry about.

Normal white discharge is okay.
Discharge with a smell or weird colour needs to be checked out asap.
Also, try washing knickers in biodegradable soap or something less harsh than you are using right now!

probably not serious. Is the discharged strong smelling or a strange color? If worried your girlfriend could go to a doctor to put her mind at ease. I"m sure its nothing.

Vaginal discharge can be slightly acidic, so it could affect the material in her undergarments. However, a Dr. can tell you best what is going on.

her pH balance is off she can either go to the doctor or just simply get some pH balancer from a drug store. (she should not wear dark color underwear, or wipe with colored tissue) if she has to wear dark underwear make sure the lining is white.

I think it is normal as long as there is no smell and has no colour.
