I did the ovulation calendar for this month and it said i would ovulate from Oct 27 to Nov 2. Me and my partner have been at it for two weeks everyday. I miss only one day Oct 30.

My question is does the ovulation calendar ready work? Have you taken it? Did it work for you?

You may be having too much sex! You are not giving your partners sperm enough time to replace themselves. Sperm can survive in the vagina 1-2 days prior to ovulation. I know because one of my kids was conceived that way! When you think you are about to ovulate have sex two days before, the day you think you ovulate and then two days after that. its a pretty good spread so you are more likely to have some success that way.

Also make sure you and your partner are healthy and in good shape.

You might try using a Basal thermometer system. Its considered more accurate for predicting ovulation based on your body's temperature. See the third website for more info.

Another thing that hinders so many of the body's processes is stress. Maybe in your excitment to get pregnant you are putting a lot of pressure on your body. Stress can make concieving difficult and labor more painful. Enjoy the process as much as possible and try to make it happen more naturally. Plan a special night with your partner during your ovulation.

After all that, if you still have trouble, you might see a Dr. Luckily these days there are many options the medical community can offer to fertility issues.

Good Luck!

As hard as it is to hear 9 months really isn't that long since each cycle you only have a 20-25% chance. When you say you are following an ovulation calender is it one of those things on the internet? If it was don't trust them because they just give you the average days that you will ovulate every woman is different. If you want to hurry things along I would start to get to know your cycle better by charting your temps, ovulation predictor kits or getting a fertility monitor. I have been TTC since Jan 09 - Although it did take a few months for my period to regulate and my hubby was working away on business a lot last year which didn't help! I bought a clearblue fertility monitor and it has already shown me that I ovulate on different days each month as much as 5 days difference from month to month. Wishing you luck and I hope you get your BFP soon (me too!) xx

This is my 1st month of charting and it does help show a pattern. Helps to pinpoint your ovulation and most fertile times to baby dance. Like for example, right now I am on day 23 since my last period and I have had no temp shift which would indicate that I have not ovulated. If I wasn't charting then when I didn't get my period in the next week, I would assume I was pregnant, in which I probably am not since I haven't ovulated.

Remember to have sex every other day this is extremely important, so the troops can have time to rebuild themselves...If you do it daily the numbers will decrease with each shot! If your cycle runs different then every 28 days you must do some adjusting to the calendar to fit your own cycle!!! Try to stay calm and have fun with the baby-making process, stress will harm your efforts...I was able to conceive after 3 months of trying but, the normal range is 7-9 months for couples to conceive!

Count 14 days from the FIRST day of your period. THAT is usually ovulation day is you are on a 28 day cycle, 15-16 days for a 30 days cycle. From the day before ovulation to the day after is when you want to have sex. That is usually the best time to concieve. But dont think about concieving, think about having fun. lol

Ovulation calendars aren't 100% accurate... I would recommend charting BBT, Cervical mucus, cervial position, and all that good stuff. I've been using the calendars for 5 months & BBT for 2 months... try the website below... it's very helpful

My wife used it and we got pregnant. You ovulation doesn't last 2 weeks, so don't waste your time...It's usually lasts like 4-5 days with only 1 or 2 days good to get pregnant.
