My grandson is 16 and has cerebral palsy. He loves bowling and is pretty good at it. I would really like to get him something special from a pro bowler that would let him know how proud we are of his courage.

Many of the pro bowlers have their own websites. Find out which of the pros your grandson likes and check out these sites. Many of them offer Fan Clubs. Because Pro bowlers are so approachable, email them with your story and don't be surprised if you hear back from the pro himself. If your grandson's favorite pro isn't listed below, try Googling the name of the pro with the words "pro bowler" and see if a site exists. Good Luck!

Danny Wiseman
http://www.dannywisemanbowling.com/
Danny sells the wild shirts he wears on TV. Ask for an autographed photo to go with it, and your grandson will be styling!

Robert Smith
http://www.robertsmithbowling.com
Robert has the most powerful game on tour. The site offers a contact page and they sell a great autographed baseball cap.

Mika Koivuniemi
http://www.mikakoivuniemi.net
Mika has been an international star for years, finally making his rounds on the PBA Tour.

Tommy Delutz, Jr
http://www.tommydelutzjr.com
Tommy reads his message boards regularly, and is very accessible. If your grandson likes Tommy, then email him and ask for a photo.

Walter Ray Williams, Jr.
http://www.walterray.com
Walter Ray is now the most winningest pro on tour. His site offers everything from bowling pins to bobble heads.

Jason Couch
http://www.jasoncouch.com
Jason has a Fan Club and will be adding merchandise in the future.

Parker Bohn
http://www.parkerbohn.com
One of the first to have his own site and fan club.

Does he have his own ball? If not already, you should get him a really nice one. Maybe if you wrote to a pro bowler and told them your situation, they would send you a signed one. I've heard of stars doing such a thing for their fans before. I'm sure you could easily find an address for them on the internet. I love that you are putting so much thought into it. That's really sweet. Good luck.

Does he have a personalized bowling ball? That would be nice. Maybe ask at the bowling alley were he bowls what would be good for him.

You sound like a wonderful grandparent and I'm sure you are very proud. He's lucky to have you.

A great idea for a personal and unique gift is a handmade painting made from a photo that you send.

Check out this site: www.paintyourlife.com

The prices are reasonable and the outcome is amazing.
