I have been told that the "peaceful and tolerant" religion of Islam has been hyjacked by the radicals and misinterpreted to fit their agendas.
I wonder, however, why the aledged, vast majority of Muslims do not condemn, at least publically, the actions of these terrorists.
In my opinion, this implies, however minor, an underlying support or at best, sympathy by the Muslims for the terrorists' tactics and agenda.

I have also been told that the Democratic Party has been hyjacked by the likes of Michael Moore and the Hollywood elitists, Air America and the like - and, likewise, I look for the condemnation from the vast majority of true Democrats.

Has the Democratic Party truly been hyjacked - or are we seeing their true colors?

Something to consider about Islam is that they lack any central leadership, unlike Christianity. When people are looking for a blanket Christian statement, they typically look to the Catholic church, as it is the most organized. Islam is far more factionalized.

I admit that the muslim mainstream hasn't responded quite in the way that I had hoped. It seems that non-american, or at least non-western muslims are curiously silent when islamic terrorists strike against the west and it's interests abroad. Some, like Pakistan in 2001, rejoiced at it.

It's difficult to make any broad assertions regarding Islam, because you risk alienating the few who do have respect for the west, and christianity. It is perhaps up to these few to provide the extinction of the terrorist mindset that for some reason inflames much of the middle east: That Israel needs to be destroyed, and the West represents pure evil.

Regarding democrats, I think the party has been misled by people like Michael Moore. I get the idea that if he had been born in Saudi Arabia, it would've been he who piloted one of the jets on 911.

Actors, for some reason, become successful and therefore feel entitled to be political analysts. Of course, we all have the right to protest, but they take it too far. The media is the most powerful mover of minds of our time, and they weild it like a nuclear weapon.

I believe firmly that whatever the Right's faults, they've got an innate advantage over the Left, in that they cater more to national security than civil liberties, and with good reason. With terrorists eternally seeking our destruction, there need to be some sacrifices to our ultimate endurance.

OK, I really like your link of the two groups. However, I was just tasked to read the Koran, and it does state that a Muslim should not be Friends with or associate with Christians, because they are too different and something or other....anyways, there is something similar in the Bible if I remember correctly...anyways that is why I don't believe they have condemned the negative actions against the U.S., but I think there is no reason why any self respecting person with brain enough to form an opinion of their own should listen to the slander and propaganda that is being spewed by Michael Moore and his cronies. In closing democrats=donkey...

Can I get a HEE HAW

I too have seen very few muslims condemn the terrorism of their compatriots, and I applaud the few I have. However, I've yet to see a democrat condemn Michael Moore or Cindy Sheehan. As for Air America, I believe it is condemned. Even liberals must have silently voted with their radio dials since it is now in bankruptcy.

Good point. Few Democrats speak out against the likes of Cindy Sheehan and Michael Moore. There are SOME, and I admire them greatly, because it means that they're DECENT. I think many have forgotten what the word means.
It certainly doesn't mean calling the president or our troops "terrorists", and it certainly doesn't mean calling those who kill a loved one in war "freedom fighters." Also, decency is NOT demonstrated in creating a movie based on lies and calling it a documentary.

I don't think so, my 90 year old neighbor is a Dem and she never heard of Michael Moore. if we have Fox network and Rush then the world won't faint if there is Air America. I grew up four blocks from Barbra Streisand and shes not elite in her background, she made a success of herself and that's a good thing right?
Don't confuse political parties with terrorism. To the best of my knowledge no Dem has shot up abortion clinics or their doctors or accused Jews of starting all the wars.
The silence of Muslims who are quiet in the face of beheadings and bombings is a much more serious matter and can't even be compared to "Hollywood elites"

If you all will remember, immediately after the towers were hit on 9/11, Osama bin Laden was villified by virtually the entire Muslim world. Our invasion of Afghanistan was supported, or at the very least tolerated, by the vast majority of Muslim nations. Only after this despot we call President decided to invade a sovreign nation under the false pretense of a link to 9/11 and WMD's, did all that goodwill go straight down the toilet. Thank your Mr. Bush for this mess.

Well, if a muslim spoke out, he/she would probably be killed

that is another analogy you can consider

EDIT: Judging by the fact I don't have any thumbs down, I am guessing liberals did not understand the answer

ok pay attention in case you opt to at present make the problem worser, crack the sh*ts at him like everybody else is advising you. If he meets your efforts with taunts, in basic terms giggle and start to kiss and cuddle him. quicker or later, he will quit scoffing. interior the abode genuine now, there is the ambience between the two one in each and every of you that he (im going by capacity of my droop) is aggravated which you ***** approximately his habit and in basic terms doesnt decide to communicate to you that a lot in any respect. you should coach it around. Make verbal replace sturdy and relaxing. case in point: in case you should ***** approximately some thing to him, do it quickly after the two one in each and every of you have made love and you're mendacity in mattress mutually. do no longer start to assert it agressively or in an stressful tone. Say it like... (sigh...) 'you know, i might decide to have intercourse with you many extra in case you didnt call me a b*tch each and all of the time. i such as you many, and it in basic terms turns me off!' then lick his face and smile. we are women persons - we are able to apply concepts over remember and control situations. supply it a attempt. an intensive attempt - you would be shocked how he will pay interest to you once you alter the ambience between you. Make it such as you're dating as quickly as returned! Be somewhat seductress, no longer the spouse who complains. by capacity of ways - i think of he's the incorrect one interior the region. yet you have the capacity to sacrifice and make issues genuine, i think of.

1. Funny how you left out that the Republican party has been hijacked by religious christian extremists.

2. You are incorrect in your statement, '...I wonder, however, why the aledged, vast majority of Muslims do not condemn, at least publically, the actions of these terrorists....."

They do speak out by our rightwing controlled media never shows you that. I see it on PBS The Newshour all the time... many times guest will come on there that are Muslim and repeatedly state they condemn fully the actions of violence etc... by their Muslim brethren.
