You dont have to sniff cocain necessarily to make soul music...but making music on coke might add a lil edge to it...might even sound better...who knows.. musicians are crazy and they do crazy things....some of the best music ever made was made under the influence so go figure.

no! all you have to is just keep on listening plenty of the best motown and stax, you'll soon get some inspiration. i got inspiration from soul music but i don't do drugs, and that's my how i got my avator name.

Absurd ! Just like you have to drink heavily to make blues music or do drugs to create rock/heavy metal music. If anything, I think it takes away from the music & often causes band breakups & artist meltdowns.
