I bought my Fiance's ticket locally here at a Filipino grocery store. It would have been cheaper to use the link listed below. My brother uses them exclusively.

Generally, it would be cheaper if ticket is purchased in the Philippines. Go directly to a local travel agent or airline office. Buy early and save more.

It depends where you buy it. Probably it is cheaper in the Philippines b/c the peso value. 52 pesos equals one dollar over here in the U.S. My friend went to the Phillipines about 2 months ago. She said her ticket costs about $250 over here in the states. My friend said the costs depends and varies. She said if you book your ticket earlier, it probably would be cheaper than to buy it later when prices go up.

I am a Filippina and I tell you,it is always better to buy plane tickets in the Philippines,the price is always lower(maybe due to peso value equivalence)

sometimes it is cheaper, sometimes it is not. i suggest you compare the rates - both if they buy it there or from here. a friend of mine did the same thing - and they got it $50 cheaper purchasing it in manila. but he gave his credit card number. money gram will cost you other charges. in the end it might not end up cheaper. if you buy it here, don't use online engines, go to local travel agents because they have better rates.

There are promo fares. if exit Philippines, it should be purchased in the Philippines because its cheaper. travel agencies has special rate for airfare going out of the Philippines. if you have other query regarding airfare, pls send me email at lindaltan@yahoo.com. im travel agent in the Philippines
