I'm talking about the two of you are going out to eat or something...not borrowing the car.

Probably, and my actions would reflect my uncomfortableness.

again, (and I don't mean for this to seem like a cop-out) it depends on the friend. I have one friend who is just messy.. always has been, and I know this about her. I don't say a word if I get in her car and it's messy, cause I expect it. I do, however, say something if I get in her car and it's clean. We have a good laugh about it and move on. Now, another friend, that is usually very organized... the first time I got in her car and it was a mess, I said "NOW I KNOW WHERE YOU KEEP ALL YOUR MESS!"... again, we had a good laugh. I am not very organized myself, so who am I to judge, right?

If there isn't a place to sit cause of the mess, I would patiently stand there till there is a spot cleared for me.
If the spot for me to sit is cleared of junk, then if I felt the need to say something, I would probably say -- "Do you need some help cleaning up??" Then grab some trash bags out of my trunk. I keep them on hand cause my car always has that kind of junk in it!

if it was a friend I would relentlessly clown the hell out of thier messy car. If it was a date, i would quietly take mental notes, if it was my boss I would ignore the fast food bags and focus on the reason I'm even in the damn car, if it was a casual aquaintence or a new friend, i'd pretend not to notice, or I would compliment thier carefree lifestyle...

Hell yeah I'd make a comment! I would tell her to clean her car out. Then I would ask her what's wrong cause my girl usually keeps the inside of her car clean, so something would have to be wrong for her to have it dirty like that, lol

I would just give a friendly laugh and make a funny comment - something like - I like your clean car!

No I don't think so. I wouldn't want to embarrass them but, I would be very leery of touching anything. I know one girl who had a bag of KFC in her car for almost a full summer and it didn't even rot. Really make you wonder what we put in our mouths!

Depends on how good a friend they are. If they are a good friend, I'd be like, "Jesus, do you ever clean your car? Did I just sit in freakin' MUSTARD?"
If not, I wouldn't say anything, but would take my own car next time....

I'd just laugh and move the filth outta the way...it's their car - it's not for us to tell anyone else how to live or be.
