It means that regardless of what he says and how hard he tries to show why he believes as he does, the Dem's are waiting in the back ground with their ever ready "that's not true" crap.. They forget their reasoning for backing Bush in the beginning...

Ha. I think it means that the Spin Zone is going on at the White House. Poor George. He means: It's exhasperating for me to over and over again tell the people how our stragety in Iraq is central to our vision on battling terrorism abroad to prevent it at home [his opinion, not mine].
