It means that regardless of what he says and how hard he tries to show why he believes as he does, the Dem's are waiting in the back ground with their ever ready "that's not true" crap.. They forget their reasoning for backing Bush in the beginning...

Ha. I think it means that the Spin Zone is going on at the White House. Poor George. He means: It's exhasperating for me to over and over again tell the people how our stragety in Iraq is central to our vision on battling terrorism abroad to prevent it at home [his opinion, not mine]. Instead, he says that he finds it hard to "connect Iraq to the war on terror." SheeSh. Why did we elect him?

I guarentee you that 80% of the american population with screw more words up than Bush being in his position. But i guess id rather have a president that screws up words here and there over a president that screws interns here and there.
