If that so, the first die will have just 4 numbers to use for the sum of 7 and the other has only 4 to use.
because the number 1 for the first die cant be used,
we will proceed to the second number 2 which can be matched with number 5 of the second die.
Then number 4 of the first die to be matched with number 3 of the second die.
Since only number 4 cant be used for the second die, we will use the number 5 of the first die which can be matched with number 2 of the second die.
and at last, we will use the number 6 of the first die which can be matched with the number 1 of the second die.
we cant use 6 of the second die to matched with 1 of the first die
because the number 1 of the first die is replaced by a blank.
Henceforth, we have paired 4 matches with the sum of seven:
( 2 , 5 ) ( 4 , 3 ) ( 5 , 2 ) ( 6 , 1 )
then, the total outcome would be: 6 * 6 = 36
so, the probability that is seven in that case is
Pr ( sum is 7 ) = 4/36 = 1/9

there are 36 different combos for 2 dice. A seven can appear 6/36 times or 1 out of every 6 rolls. If you take the number 1 off of the first die and a four off the other, you reduce the probability down to 4/36 or 1 out of every 9 rolls.

There is only one way you could get this and that is 2,5 and its reverse 5, 2 which means that out of the 36 possible answers there are two so the answer to your question is 2/36 or 1/18... hope this was helpful
