Well, if i was at a concert i would smash on the geekiest kid i could find and whack it on him so his dorky glasses break.

Well, the best ones to smash are Squiers since those are poorly made, and dont cost alot.
I would wait until my band was at a huge concert, and then after our last song I would raise it behind my head like an axe. Then I would slam it down onto the stage and watch it shatter. Whatever was left would be hacked against maybe a crappy amp.
Btw, do you know why Pete Townshend from The Who began smashing guitars? Apparently, at one concert he got SO MAD with how terribly the sound guy was doing, that he smashed his guitar against an amp in anger.

I have more respect for such a beautiful instrument than to smash it. I love my guitar.
To smash a guitar shows a lack of intelligence and level of disrespect that is so undescribable.

i've been pondering this question. i am a guitar player in a hardcore punk rock band. smashed guitars are kinda essential. and my guitar is expensive for me. i only get one to smash. i might take it off and spear it, head first in to the stage. that way i get maximum weight on the neck. but again, that means i'll never play it again. maybe i'll grab the neck and beat the body again the floor until i'm sick of it.

well if its expensive i wouldnt smash it. but if its cheap crap hold it by the top part and smash it on asphalt ( or you can use a chain saw to cut it )

I wouldn't want to break it but if it was useless I would smash it against a brick wall just because I think wood splintering against brick would look cool.
