I'm like that. I don't have any real friends, just guys i hang around with. I could never count on them. Probably because it's hard to trust ppl these days

i dont have many good friends. i know lots of people and when i see them i'd have a good time but never would reveal my most intimate thoughts or whats happening in my life.
i meet this girl, though, that somehow we click so much, i've told her things that nobody else knows which i find weird since i dont know her that much, but i feel i can trust her.
its strange because i have some friends that i've known for over 20 yrs now and i would never tell them what i had said to her.
the superficial friends are ok to party. the ones you can talk about averything i think it would be more your friends.
in this country i probably have one friend i can count on, and in my country 2 or 4 actually. theres this 2 girls.
but the 2 guys i know for a long time, i know i can trust and they would help me if i need it...

All of my real friends I have known since childhood. I have other friends since I moved away but none are really good best friends, there a bit over dependent one minute then the next they hardly call unless they need something. Its so shallow! I love it when I get back home for visits and have a good laugh with my real pals.

i'm truly blessed. i have seven people i KNOW will do anything for me. thye've proven it time and again. plus family that i could call on in a pinch i wrote this for them ...............family can be blood, that much is true. but it's much more. there are no rules. the family you choose truly the best. each and every one passing your test. they've brought you joy, shared your pain. lifted you up, brought you down. cried on your shoulder, put you in your place. dried your tears, made you weep or laugh. shared your joy and sorrow, felt your pain. saw us through the worst, brought out our best. acknowledged our faults but loved us no less. the ties that bind thicker than blood. withstand a drought, weather a flood. i cherish them all, my family i've found. never a dull moment when they're around. so love them well, tell 'em what you feel. they're that special something sent by the gods. so hold them close, hold them dear. love them well they're here for all time.through heaven and hell and back once again, such is the bond of a family of friends.

I have loads of friends that I keep in touch with that I met at college and uni. Out of all of them I think I've got about 15 who if I got chucked out of my ouse or something awful happened I know they would offer at the click of the finger for me to stay with them, or not be annoyed if i called them at 3 in the morning. But then I'd do the same for them so guess I'm pretty lucky.

I hope that I could say a number of people on this forum. I hope they know who they are. They have always given good advice and caring support.
In my day to day existence I have built up a small circle of friends with whom I have lunch once a week or so. They are mainly accepting straight with two gay. They are as close as I have come to real friends so Lord or the Earth Mother be praised, I am not alone.
My dear brother. his partner and family have my unconditional love and respect.

I have only had 2-3 REAL friends in my whole life. I am 35 yrs. old so that should tell you that REAL friends are far and few babe! We can have many "freinds with benefits" but they will not be there when the going gets tough! They get up and go too!

I guess you can call me aloner. But i dont have any friends. Friends tend to get you in trouble. Any i dont put anything past anyone these days. From experience, one only friend of 8 years, tried to hit on my ex when we were together. And wanted my ex before her. Hell i guess she just wanted to be me. But, people cross you no matter how good you think you know them

What is real friends? I mean, how do you define it. Your defination may be parochial(narrow). In my view, all freinds are real friends, whoever I met. I mean reality is judged by individually. I like all the people of the world. I love you doesn't mean that I hate others. On the other hand, I here in the world because of the friends' love.
