Yes, I have been there. A friend of mine used to live there. It is about an hour drive from Manila, the main city. But that is without traffic. The last time I was there, it was mainly a rural, residential area whose major population commutes to work in Manila. About 10 years ago, it started to progess as an industrial and a little bit of commercial area. I am assuming by now, it can be considered as a suburb.

You should see Imus, Cavite during the Christmas season. Each street has its own design & is well lighted. Am not sure if it is the Christmas Capital or the Lantern Capital of the Philippines.
It has industrially developed during the last 10 years. It is one of the fastest developing town in Cavite.
There are now 2 tertiary hospitals here & a shopping mall. Unlike before where you will see fields. It is more or less an hours drive from coastal.
You should taste their empanadas & sapin sapin which comes in bilao. You can also buy nice fireworks from this place used during birthdays or weddings in which the name of the celebrant is in it.

In his way Stalin was another Hitler, and Stalin lasted longer in power, and died of old age, still in power. Stalin was in charge of Soviet Russia, a very powerful nation. Since that time there have been several dictators in charge of nations which have had wide influence, e.g.Ghaddafi in Libya (small nation by population, but big influence because of oil), Mao Tse Tung in China and Saddam Hussein in Iraq (oil, again, and look at the chaos in Iraq since he was deposed). Nobody can predict the future, but I would not be surprised to find a dictator in a similar position to Hitler at some time.
