This is essentially 100 yards.

A person of average fitness can run 100 yards in about 30 seconds( this is a pace of 8 minutes/mile). A world class dash time without starting blocks is 10 seconds.

You will walk it in about 90 seconds

I don't know why you don't want to perform the experiment. It's very easy and you will understand the concept a lot better. But if you'd rather cheat:

Say you can run the 100 meters in 20 seconds. Then your speed is 100 meters per 20 seconds, which reduces to 5 meters per second.

Peace,

Meters per second means meters divided by seconds, just like miles per hour would be miles divided by hours. The "per" is like saying "divided by." So if it takes you 20 seconds to run 100 meters, then your speed is 100/20 = 5 meters per second.

You just make it up the time however long it takes you to run/walk.

Rate = Distance/Time, so if you think you can run it in 10 seconds (world class, BTW), it would be R = 100m/10s = 10 m/s.

So just answer how long it takes you to run/walk, and you are set.

People have suffered and died for the right to education. Slave owners throughout history in various cultures did not allow slaves to read or write in order to keep them enslaved.

Yet, young people today think education is a joke. More and more people are becoming slaves to their own chosen ignorance. What a travesty!

Do the assignment. Embrace the oppotunity to learn something so you will not grow up to be one of those ignorant adults who threw their chance away. Become a leader, a powerful person who has the knowledge to succeed and will not be kept down.
