Yes and no for both. It depends on who the candidate is. Some races, I plan on voting Repub, some races Dem, and a couple Independent. I vote for the candidate that I feel will be best for the job, not for the political party.

I don't have one particular party that I vote for. I vote for the best candidate and the proposals. If I feel that one candidate of one party would be good then I will vote for him/her but if another one on another party is good then again I will make my choice. I don't consider myself either democrat or republican I consider myself an American.

It's this thinking, Democrats or Republicans, that has made a mess of our multi-party system. There are five or six different parties. Why don't you do some research and rephrase your question.

Why do you restrict this question to just two parties?
That's why this country is in such a mess!

The assumption that we only have two parties to choose from, only two parties can participate in the system, only two parties can debate. . . is ridiculous!
There are Green Party candidates, Libertarian candidates, Natural Law Party candidates, La Raza Party candidates, Independent candidates, etc. etc.

I'm voting democrat, there has to be at least a little oversight to this administration, we can't afford to let them keep their rubber stamp house and senate.
