Someone else asked a similar question to this today and I was 50/50 on CCTV cameras when I answered that question, but since watching the news at teatime and knowing at least 300 cameras a day are watching your every move, if you make a phone call on your mobile and them knowing who you ring and what you talk about is too spooky for my liking, I have nothing to hide, good job hey.

It relies upon the place you reside because of the fact the others say, yet they're basically including so called offical cctv digicam's of their figures or beleiving the figures placed out by skill of communities interior the pay of the government, no person knows what number circumstances every person is considered on cctv as no person knows what number cameras there are. i might assume that somebody who is going right into a city or city does no longer spend extra desirable than a million minute an afternoon exterior the view of a few sort of surveillance gadget that's what's relatively frightening and if Tory Liar gets his way quickly even once you're interior your very own residence you would be watched by skill of the so intelligence centers.

Even with CCTV cameras, crimes are still being committed in front of them. Doesn't really hinder the criminals. The cameras allow 'Joe Public' to view the horrors that happens every day on our streets.
I don't feel safer at all.
Have you ever wondered this for those in the UK who watch Crimewatch - at the end they say "Don't worry, don't have nightmares - see you next month". What do those who watch the programme think when they or their families are the victims of crime and appear on the show. - Doesn't give them much assurance does it?
What do you think?

No! And the criminals don't feel any less inclined to mug, rape or steal either! Half the time the camera's don't work...they're certainly not clear enough to pinpoint what a criminal exactly looks like...and even if they are, London is a big place, full of many people who shouldn't even be there...so the chances of catching those criminals are very slim!
I don't live in London, but it's somewhere I used to frequent often. However, I wouldn't go there now...it's rough and nasty and now I have two children, I can't risk my life being taken or destroyed by some immigrant druggy or some other equivalent bum loser.

NO NO NO NO NO, if it's for crime prevention then how come it's no safer now than 10 years ago? Just there so that they can keep more coppers at their desks filling in pointless paperwork, instead of walking the streets.

I am the eternal optimist, I never worry at all about my own safety. it may sound very foolish, but when my time comes I shall go (kicking of course) I have never gone through life worrying. If you feel confident, you look confident and it shows, You are less likely to be attacked than someone who who looks timid,( and it won`t hurt if your coat is open and your black - belt can be seen.) !!

someone keeping an eye on my safety is good, but 300 times is a bit excessive.
