it means there is a jam in the fax machine, either now or when you sent the fax. try fixing the jam (find where the paper got stuck) and send the fax out again.

you have a paper jam in the fax machine. If there is no paper in there, then you have a faulty trip switch in the fax machine.

the doccument jammed and the person you faxed to either didnt get it at all or only got partial so re fax the fax

that mean that your fax didn't get to the destination u intented to send so reset the fax machine and send it again
