look over his shoulder, or don't give him access to the net, or try a webfilter like netnanny.

I highly recommend spending time with your son on the Internet.

Let's face it... Programs like NetNanny only catch some stuff... They don't handle chat rooms, etc. Keyloggers are REALLY an invasion of privacy, and are a pain to look through. The browser history can be altered.

Spending time with your son while he's on the 'net is the only way to be sure he's being both safe, from both a legal and self-protection standpoint.

★★ HELP FOR PARENTS ★★

◙ Read everything you see here.

◙ Here are some programs that parents can use to keep track of what their children are doing. They are called "key loggers". You set them to record every keystroke your children make on their computer's keyboard. These programs will even record the email addresses and passwords they use. Then you go on about your daily routine. Then later come back later and checkup on what the little darlings have been doing. ☺

★★ RECOVER DELETED HISTORY IN WINDOWS ★★

◙ Browsers and other types of web-related software record what web sites you visit, topics you have searched for, software you have used etc. Quite often children will clear these history files before they get off of the internet. Here is how to recover these deleted history files.

<- used to be an 'internet cop' at a school district.

Get a program called index viewer. This will show you pretty much where he has been going. You can get a good idea from the list of the websites located there. It's a free download.
