There are many reasons people SAY they are opposed to gay marriage, but are these the REAL reasons more than half of Americans think it best to deny someone their right to marry? A major thing like denying rights should call for major reason behind it, and none of the supposed ones hold any water. There is only ONE reason they are really against it: narrow-minded fear. Many people are just plain uncomfortable with homosexuality altogether, and do not want to see it becoming accepted by society. Some are downright disgusted with the mere thought of two men sharing a life together, and disguise that fear with something that comes off as a valid claim. There is no reason whatsoever to deny a tax-paying American the right that so many enjoy. This should not even be an issue today. This country is supposedly free, but until same-sex marriage becomes legal, this country, in actuality, is NOT free.

Couple things - there is numbing cream which is only temporary - you can get the gel cushion for high heels - which helps me when walking to the club in Chicago - you can only imagine. Or you can try wearing Bongo's or Candies they usaully have a thicker heel which absorb the pain and they're still a super sexy shoe

I would recommend only wearing them for very short periods of time as you get your foot used to wearing them. Also, start with a lower heel for times when you're going to wear them longer. They make pads for the ball of your foot (That's what that part of your foot is called) that might lessen the pain. Sometimes it just takes getting used to. So take it slow and be patient. Remember, your foot is the foundation to your whole body, and it's not very big.

I had this problem when I first started wearing heels; now I only wear heels (at least 3.5") every single day! It takes time for your feet to become accustom to these types of shoes. Dr. Scholls now has shoes pads for high heel shoes, they might help!

Buy smaller heels and get some inserts to cushion the balls of your feet. Or, invest in a pair of Cole Haan shoes. They have cushioning built into them. Oprah wore a pair on her show yesterday and loved them. You can probably get info on where to get them on her web-site.

first, make sure your toes have enough room in your shoes, because pinched toes can actually cause the rest of your foot to ache too, and second, go get yourself some inserts that are meant for high heeled shoes

try wearing them just until your feet start hurting then stop then try this for a few days and see if you don't start wearing them longer. It might also help getting some of those shoe inserts. and while you are getting use to wearing them walk on carpet.
