Women are veiled because they are not supposed to be seen by men outside of their family. Thus, as their husband is part of the family, he gets to see her face. Muslim men generally do NOT have more than 1 wife although they are technically allowed to have up to 4 though this is frowned upon.

well...mostly every single man (not gay, not that i m against) like women!!
As for Muslims.....what about christians? so men like what?
anyway, Almost all the muslims nowadays marries with only one woman. & not necessary women to have veils.
my friend, i ve been going out since 1993 with my wife (got married in 2000). No veils, yes to baiding suits. so my Q: Do U like harems???

Muslim men do not have harems. It's only in their dreams. Like going to their heaven and having free booze and 70 virgins for eternity.

Muslim women do not wear their veils at home. The veil is for when they go out in public.

The only reason the women wear veils is so that men, other than their husbands can`t see their face, surely you don`t think they sleep wearing veils!!!

muslim women does not wear their veil/harems/hijab at all times..especially in their house..outside in public,the husband can recognize his wife by her eyes and face features

from what i understand of it is that the women do what the men say so i think that the wife stays right next to the husband he doesnt have to look to know he would know where his wife is at all times.

its just weird that they have to go thru that....the muslim women are oppressed beyond words.
