I live in NZ and as far as I know holocaust denial is not a crime. But that David Irving who was tried in Austria for holoocaust-denial wanted to get into NZ to escape trial. Suffice to say he was not allowed in.

Denial is not the problem. The Holocaust really did happen.
The problem is the number of jews that are supposed to have died. 6 million jews did not die. It was more like 1 or 2 or perhaps even 3 million jews. Thats all. And several hundred thousands of other groups like gypsies, hungarians, poles, etc etc.
Its more likely that the total number of deaths during the war was around 6 million.
