I've been looking into getting my nipples pierced for a while, now. I have pretty insensitive nipples, and don't find any pleasure in having them touched. I've been told by a few people that getting my nipples pierced would make them more sensitive, and make having them touched feel good. Is this true? And would the pain of having them pierced be outweighed by the pleasure of nipple-rings once they've healed?

I had (both) mine pierced almost 2 years ago. It was speratic and I loved it. The first one(right) did not hurt, the second one however was a little more sensitive to the needle. Besides the piercing is over in seconds, the rings are there as long as you want them in! I wouldn't say they were too much more sensative than without, but it is more erotic, which can make them being touched more pleasureable!! I've taken mine out, but some nights I wish they were still in! The only thing I can say is CLEAN THEM TO PERFECTION! They tell you not to allow anyone to put their mouth on them for a few weeks, which is highly recommended, you will get an infection in no time. I always took off my bra when I was alone or with my boyfriend to let them breath at the begining. I think it's worth it...GO FOR IT! Good Luck!

i've had both of mine pierced for 4 years before i took them out. mine didn't like being pierced and had small infections all the time so that the rings didn't slide through very easy. now that i've taken them out, i have a little bit of scar tissue that is obvious to only me. i've also had one nipple get an infection in the scar tissue so i'm not sure if it healed properly or not. on the other hand, my sister had no issues with hers at all. she took hers out a year ago and has not had any recurring problems.
my experience with sensitivity was that mine weren't before and nor were they when pierced. but i'm sure each person is different.
please keep in mind that whatever you put in, may likely have to come out one day and scar tissue is a definite. however, the good points are that they look nice, guys like them and they feel like your little secret! so i would have still got mine pierced no matter what because that was what i wanted at the time

Also to take into consideration ask a doctor if this will complicate breast feeding when you decide to have children I heard you are unable to breast feed once this is procedure is done.

my friend says that she got hers peirced and now it makes her uncomferable in a bikini, also, im not telling u thats its a bad thing but, i dont really find it attractinve since im a guy and all, but again this is only what i think and what shes telling me, i hope i helped

ive got friends (mostly guys) that have theirs done and they told me that it made them more sensitive.
