There is one in each tank, called "low pressure" pumps, or "Supply" pumps, and there is one on the frame rail beneath the driver's feet, before the fuel filter and after the fuel strainer, which uses the low pressure feed to boost the fuel to the higher fuel pressure required by the injectors.

if its fuel injected, it doesnt have a fuel pump. the fuel gets up to the engine when you hit the brakes.
