whether IES(indian engg. services) allows comp. sc branch(b.tech)?

Well....yes and no both.
Yes because it allows any engineering graduate to apear in the exam. No because, it is not having CS/IT as a examination subject, Therefore one has to opt for ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION ENGG. However, there are other PSU's who offer posts to CS graduates e.g. Indian railways(CRIS), NTPC, BARC, ISRO etc.

No doubt. Please refer to the eligibility list enclosed with the application form for IES examination.
