I want to be able to access our printer (Lexmark X7170 - multi task printer) wirelessly.

I have a Netgear Router, Charter High Speed Internet via Cable.

Would this work?
Netgear PS101 Mini Parallel Print Server

Is that printer a USB Printer or Parallel or Mini Parallel. If it is a Mini, then it should work. Make sure the router is setup to share it.

1. Connect the printer and install it on a computer (using the printers cable).
2. Go to printers and faxes in control panel and right click on the printer and choose sharing, share the printer with a name
3. on the remaining computer, click on add printers in the printers and faxes form.
4. choose a network printer
5. browse for the printer you install
6. click make default.
