now lets see if someone out there can explain this one.My friends and i had the same dream and then they each called me and described it it was the same one i had the child they described is the same one from my dreams and i never told them about it in every dream this child looks the same everytime

Not every one believes that dreams have special meanings. I do however. Before i met my husband i had been a single mother for 8 years. I was having a lot of meaningful dreams but the people in them were interchangeable. it was the message that was important.
I believe this might be the same for you. For example, you said it was your ex that was the father. This could just be representing the male figure not the actual father. The child of this dream could be your child in the future or it could be more symbolic. Birth and pregnancy is sometimes representative of a new life a new beginning, not a literal new baby.
I would be more inclined to say that this dream means that out of that relationship which has now passed you have been given some important life lessons for which it has changed you and you are now embarking on a new strain in your life.
It is possible your friends are just going along with you, but then it may be possible that you are getting messages from your angels about your life and they are sending it to your earth angels as well.
I know it all sounds a bit airy fairy to other people which is why i don't really discuss dreams and their meanings to others but i do believe that dreams have deeper meaning.
At the end of the day though it is you alone who can tell me yes or no is makes sense or does not.
