I was bartending. He had a crush on me. It was a VERY busy bar, and (future) hubby was very shy, so I didn't really get to know him or talk with him. But I had a boyfriend and Hubby respected that and didn't make a move on me. Hubby transferred to the night shift and couldn't come to the bar anymore, and he moved to the next county to be closer to work. He assumed I eventually married boyfriend. About 6 years later, I was in the process of a break up with Boyfriend and was out on the town with friends. Hubby was there with his roomie. Hubby still had the crush. Roomie liked my Friend. They visually flirted while Hubby finished his beer thinking of what to say to me. But before he got a chance, we left for a bar with a dance floor :-(. Two weeks later, Hubby and Roomie were at the same bar I used to bartend at. They saw my friend. Double bonus! Roomie liked Friend, and Hubby saw the chance to set up a meeting with me at his friends upcoming party. Things blossomed from there and we lived happily ever after.

I was a waitress and him and buddy came in for a few drinks. I waited on them all night and hung out flirting with him. When they got ready to leave he gave me his card. I sent him an email that next monday and we have been together ever since. I say we met on fate, cause he had never been in the place and I wasn't suppose to be working that night. Have a good day.

I met my husband in a Florida chat room on yahoo. His nickname indicated he was from the same small town I live in so we met at a local coffee shop. We have been inseparable since.

He came here after year and a half of chatting and phone calls. We got married 3 months after he came to NY. BIG MISTAKE. Well he needed his residence and i was in love. He was in love too. In the parking lot of Godfathers. He was there with his cousin who came to see me (the cousin had interest in me and I did not return the interest in him). I kinda ignored the cousin and talked to who is now my husband and that was nine years ago.

AT work. It was kind of odd. My co-worker pointed her out as the kind of girl you marry not fool around with and her co-workers pointed me out like the kinda of guy you marry not fool around with (could be bad I guess lol). So I asked her out and here we are married for almost 17 years now.
