I have..... an unspeakable HEADACHE. I never had one like this, work is challenging as I can't focus on ANYTHING. It feels like a migraine and I'm actually close to tears, but crying is just not something I can do with the position I'm in as manager. I've tried tylenol, but it's just too severe. I'm a health FREAK, but is there some healthy remedy out there that i haven't heard of and just don't know about? it's getting to the point where I can't sleep at night, and I am used to a large portion of exercise and just being able to SLEEP at night. I have to get rid of it, does anyone have any real suggestions? I can't go through another day with this. I have it every few days, and it STINKS. Thank you in advance for your input. Oh, and for those of you who read my other questions, yeah, I've been hormonal and a total goofball before but yeah, I can actually be serious and straightforward when I really need to be. Please give me some real answers. I'll be nearby, LAYING DOWN....

well i went through the same thing- i'm currently 38 weeks pregnant and haven't had a migraine since about 20 weeks, usually it ur blood pressure, or u can be somewhat dehydrated- drink plenty of water, i was told by my doctor to drink 16 ounces every hour for every hour i was awake- i thought he was nuts! but it really helped- although i spent most of my day in the bathroom! good luck- ask if u can take aleve (they are way better than ur average tylenol) see ur doctor as soon as u can and ask to have some blood test work done. best wishes sweetie.

I'm pretty sure it's from the hormones. This happened to me a few times during my pregnancy as well. I got a migraine so bad that it affected my vision, I was seeing streaks of colors. Being a complete health freak as well...I can't suggest too much to rid you of it. I would definitely try drinking more water, and if you can stomach it, maybe a little caffeinated green tea. A little bit af caffeine may help, or, it might make it worse. It's hard to tell, good luck.

Your best bet would be to call a friend or have your partner take you to a doctor, you could be experiencing an elevation in blood pressure and that would cause a sever headache. It's probably nothing but it's better to be safe, especially in your delicate condition. If possible call before going if you're feeling hesitant.
If you live in the States, you may have access to a call-in number that will connect you to a Nurses-hotline thru your insurance agency, if not call your GP.

Drink plenty of water, and rest until you head down to the doctor.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

I can't promise anything, but try pressing on the spot between your eyebrows. Or, this is going to sound cheesy, but close your eyes and take a deep breath. When you exhale, picture/feel the pain in your head blowing out with your breath. It helps a little bit. I had the same problem when I was pregnant, and there's not a whole lot you can do. Just remember to take time every day to just relax and breathe, and take care of yourself. Drink a lot of fluids and eat well. Pregnancy takes a lot out of you, so you have to remember to keep putting back in. Good Luck!!

I had really bad headaches when I was pregnant too...i found that they were from me being dehydrated because I wasnt drinking enough water when I felt nauseas..you said the headaches come every few days so maybe on those days try drinking a lot of water.

Okay migranes are normal, at least for me, my doc said nothing to worry about.... but if the headache lasts longer than 2 days, or you pass out, or even get so dizzy you fall, then see a doc immediatly, you could have high blood pressure.... be careful to only take tylonol, not excedrin... Good luck, and Im sorry you have to be in such pain... it sucks.

Don't worry....it is common. I had the samroblem...here is the cure!......have your husband rub your feet tonight for about 20 minutes, then take a nice warm (not too warm though for babys sake) bath. Then tommorow have someon drive you to the nearest spa for a pregnant woman massage(make sure to find one that does those), then go buy yourself something nice. Your head might still hurt, but the rest of you will feel GREAT!

Did you anticipate it to be white? Whoops! You will leak a yellowish substance, and that is colostrum- the stuff that you are making earlier than you are making milk which comes by way of after your little one is born. Sounds love it's the proper time so that you can be leaking too.
