Personally I am a landmark driver, tell me what the building is on the corner of the street I need and I am great. I can't remember street names, but I can remember whether or not there is a notable building there. I think it's because we relate better to people in our own style than in theirs.

I do it by churches cause they see most churches better than most pubs in London
