Legally no, there is no possibility of getting music for free.

Limewire, Bearshare and other "file-sharing" programs are still illegal since you are not paying for the music yourself. Going down to your local Best Buy or buying the song/album from iTunes is legal but not file sharing.

As for services that you legally pay for online Rhapsody and Napster have the best set ups out there, they've been around the market a good billion times. I'd also suggest Pandora, a free site that lets you explore your musical interests. From their site you can buy songs and/or albums. I'll post the link to all 3 sites for you in the sources box.

here we go another one asking the same old Q sorry just have to say this one more time ,if we all use a free site we would end up paying as it would be made too popular and the fat cats would get greedy

WinMx is a good site for that they have one that charges you for downloads and another that is free.The big plus is you don`t get any viruses from the site

lime wire or ares seem to be two of the most popular. I like ares as it gives you a better preveiw

I reccommend Ares.com. U can download it free. Its fast and you can download any song you want.
