Recently separated and need to start getting out - I'm not that old just a bit out of touch!!! Any tips would be appreciated!

I would never go anywhere without my bag, I couldn't cope with the separation! Ha ha ha, for going out I recemmend a smallish bag that is big enough to carry the essentials, money, lip gloss, powder, phone, one that goes over your shoulder that you can tuck under your arm is best, you'll forget that its there.
There are so many fantastic designer bags, Vuitton, Chloe, Fendi etc, and Guess do lovely more reasonably priced bags, but its worthwhile checking the high street, places like Oasis, Warehouse, Faith and Accessorize do a fantastic range of bags in loads of colours and styles...just be careful not to leave your bag down, even for a minute becuase someone might just grab it and run. Have fun!

When I go out I try not to take anything. I've had my purse stolen before from City Streets in Fort Worth (5 clubs in one all underground!) So if I can, I'll just put my id and money in a pocket. OR the have clutches, but even those you sometimes have to put down. They have those small purses that have a shoulder strap and they sit right under your arm, so even if you go on the dance floor, you can still have your purse under your arm. The strap is long enough just to put it onyour shoulder and it sits next to your bewb. Louis Vuitton is VERY "in". Prada, Gucci, Coach, and Chanel are all in. Balenciaga. Louis Viotton might be the one you can find at a reasonable price, bbut if you have one, you're lucky! Don't go to a club unless you're gonna dance, so a few dance lessons in hiphop or salsa might be good. There are salsa clubs that have lesson nights. Make sure to only buy the BEST beer, and try tequila shots of patron! Don't be afraid to chat people up, make sure to have a good time with your friends.

Yes but the smaller the better. Maybe something with a wrist strap. Clutch bags are perfect for this. I tend to leave at home all the unecesssarys I only take out keys my cash card, and lippy, oh and sometimes a pen. Resist the urge to take out your mobile you don't need it, and then you don't have to worry about it.You go girl, Good luck and have fun!

I always carry a nice small bag; just 4 lipgloss, money etc. I like a basic black small clutch for the winter. Good Luck with the clubbin' I 2 am recently divorced and getting back out. Strut your stuff girl and don't sweat the small things.

I always bring my bag every where with me....i like the big bags the ones that are the same size of you chest...but not as big as if you could fit your body in them. I believe the big bags are in....just go out there and rock it...get back in the game!!! :) The good sign in having a big bag is, is that you can always sneek in some food and bevages for the movies....that is one thing i love about a big bag..im sure you will find more in your travels....

It's usually something small that you can hold in your hand...so more like a purse than a bag...because bag's over shoulder's make dancing and holding drinks pretty hard!! Plus if I take a proper bag, I end up putting too much stuff in it, and then get too drunk and lose it anyway! As long as it's big enough for my money, my phone and my lippy...it's "in" to me!

Wear something that will make you look confident and a woman hard to get but must have!
About the handbag, i would suggest something small like a purse that you could take your money in it and your keys and makeup. Something small but classy!

It makes dancing really hard. I take my ID, Phone and Lip Gloss. I make my friends carry them for me. Just because they want to lug a bag around doesn't mean I want to.

If you're going to drink...
This is perhaps kind of odd, but it's what works for me. I'm so forgetful when I'm sober, I lose everything when I'm drunk!
I carry my credit/debit card in one side of my bra, and my drivers license in the other.
That way, nobody can steal it without me knowing, and I definitely won't lose them!
(just make sure you put the numbers facing out... oops...)

I have a tiny bag with tobacco. rizlas, money, key, lighter. Sometimes credit card for emergency!
20p stashed on my body (not in) for phone (used to be 10p in the good old days!)
