Try Anica cream. You can get it at most health food stores. It always worked wonders for me includng with pain, swelling, and speed of healing.

Welcome to the figure skating world....
The bruises, sprains, cuts and nicks are the hidden price to pay for practising our beloved sport...
Ice is the best for the bruises and time of course, it will take an average of three weeks for a good purple bruise on the hip from a missed spin to go away.... It's perfectly normal of not being able to sleep on the side for the first week...
Try arnica water and witch hazel lotion, they can work wonders and they soothe the pain a bit...
A very important thing is to correct your technique, why did you fall, were you disctracted or maybe you didn't prepare the jump/spin... even just straight skating and tripping can result in a nasty fall (I had a patello-femoral injury which ended my skating)
Now, keep skating, have patience and show em' proudly your "war wounds"

Nope doubt it, my pal is an ice skater, he falls on ice each and all of the time and has on no account broken his knee. you are able to desire to have in basic terms bruised it on the interior, it would not continuously teach seen bruising, terrific advice is to objective to stay off it for a pair of days and in case you do no longer see and improvment circulate to a doctor.

You can also try a product called traumeel that is supposed to work well - it is also homeopathic and can be found at health stores or on the internet.

Wear bunga gel pads to cushion your falls. It would help make it much less painful.
