Yes they do. My avatar is a scubadiver. Some avatars go on vacation, to the places the backgrounds are. Why else do you think they have all those weird outfits? Its not like anyone would pick them, the avatars just need those outfits to go to where the backgrounds are. The backgrounds extend for miles!!!

Yes. Unfortunately, mine is heavy into drugs and prostitution, but there's no Avatar rehab clinics in my area. Pray for him.

They probably do, but I wish I knew what my meerkat does. I notice it changes sometimes when I come back and it has a smile on it's face.
