If you just bought a computer and its not recognising the graphics card, then they haven't installed it properly. You pc should be supplied up and running, not half configured! Phone them and ask them to sort it out.
It may be that the driver wasn't installed; but it may be that the card is faulty or not installed properly.
You can get the driver from the manufacturers website.

i does no longer have faith you the two. As Vista is a sixty 4 bit processor gadget. in case you do not have the proper video drivers for this card you will mess up the gadget. domicile windows and the pc makers have worked out lots of the utility gadget defects, yet once you have in basic terms worked on older stuff, stay away

graphic cards will not install correctly using add hardware wizard as it will use microsoft defualt settings
you need to first find out the make of your graphics card(go to start>control panel>display properties>settings>advanced>adapter>this will give you the name of your p.c,s graphic card
it could be one of a few different makers, here is a list of links to the most popular manufacturers
1)nvidia...http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
2)a.t.i...https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=27
3)intel graphics...http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Support_Intel.aspx?iid=homepage+hdr_nav2_download
4)s.i.s...http://www.sis.com/download/agreement.php?url=/download/
5)s3 graphics...http://www.s3graphics.com/en/resources/drivers/index.jsp
6)matrox...http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/corpo/support/drivers/home.php
this is basically all the makers of all the graphic cards found in all p.c,s today allthough nvidia and ati have a 90% domination of the graphics market with nvidia just tipping ahead of ati
by getting the latest driver updates you can gain from having sharper graphics and any fixes or patches that are applicable to your card
good luck
