How does one put music on a Power Point Slide show?

The above poster is correct ... it will appear on your slide in a graphic format but you can minimize it to where i can't be seen.

The first poster was incorrect -- you can insert WAV files as well as midi files.

first the music should be stored in your computer and when u r anmating the slide means setting how the slide will go means this word will come from this side........
then at bottom u will see a option named as no sound so just click at arrow mark beside it and huge list wii come in that go to last and choose a option browser than computer will ask for any save file than u just select the file of music u want to play and press enter
and then click on apply at downside of box

When you are trying to put music on a power point it has to be n midi file formthen you have to save it and run it with the power point

It is the "background sound" property of the slide...

Insert > Movies and Sounds > Sound from File

in the main menu
