whats up, just to sparkling up the courting between MP3 and AAC: a million. AAC is particularly like the subsequent version of MP3 and is the prevalent for ipods 2: the two varieties are compressed variations of the unique audio, yet AAC has superior compression methods 3. At low bit expenses - intense compression (e.g. 128kbps) - AAC is plenty extra desirable than MP3 4. At intense bit expenses (e.g. 192kbps) AAC might in concept be somewhat extra desirable, yet there is no definitive answer and ninety 9.ninety 9% of folk won't observe the adaptation between the two formats 5. MP3 remains the main extensively available format, and could proceed to be for the foreseeable destiny desire this facilitates somewhat. in basic terms so which you recognize, i exploit aac on my ipod. i in basic terms like the considered it being particularly extra desirable high quality sound :) sturdy success! An iPod can play mp3s. I have tons of Mp3s on my iPod.

iTunes has its own format of aac - everything your download from iTunes is in aac and you can import songs from your own CDs as aac or mp3 (or there are a couple other options) but your songs DO NOT have to be in aac for them to play on an iPod.

That salesman doesn't know wtf he's talking about.
