How about some fajitas? Just imagine the chicken or steak sizzling on the skilliet with onions and peppers. Do not forget your beans, rice, hot sauce, etc.

Pasties. Someone used to make them when I was a kid in Northeastern Pennsylvania . . . then I forgot about them for many years until a trip to the UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) several years ago, where they are a local favorite in all the restaurants! Since then we've made them many times at home. Basically they amount to a hamburg, potato . . . with a little onion and etc. spices . . . turnover, covered with gravy. If you knowhow to make a good pie crust and cook everything up right, they're a real treat! As far as I know, the UP is the only place in the U.S. where they serve them.

Something that wasn't killed in order for you to consume. Maybe a fresh salad, steamed potatoes? Just don't be a reason for the next cow, pig or fowl to be slaughtered. Oh, and no breast milk from a cow or chicken embryos.

Grilled chicken, with macaroni and cheese, and a big salad with ranch. :) That's what we are having.
