My last period began on Oct 7th. I had unprotected sex with my BF on Oct 12th (the day my period ended) then again on Oct 17th. Is it possible that I could have gotten pregnant? Today is Nov 2nd and I have been experiencing some LIGHT nausea at various times throughout the day today and my breast have been extremely SORE for a few days now.
A little history: I am 34 years old, never been on birth control and never have been pregnant. Just recently have been trying to conceive. My periods have been like clock work for over a year now with 27-29 day cycles. However for the past 3 months my periods have been all screwy. I have been late.. VERY LATE for the past 3 months, on 38-42 day cycles. I noticed about a week after my period, about the time I had sex on the 17th, that I had ALOT of cervical mucus and as the week progressed, it got thicker. So is it possible that I was ovualting that soon AFTER my period and became pregnant on the 17th? Any thoughts on this is greatly appreciated

Taking into consideration that you a 27-29day cycle person....Well, normally a 28day person should expect to ovulate 14days before her next expected period. If your period came on the 7th, you should be expecting your period, thereabouts of 4th Nov...14days before that falls on the 21st October (this for a regular 28day person)...since you have been experiencing some fluctuations on the cycle, you should give or take a week before and a week after, within which ovulation can occur.
Having had intercourse on the 12th would not do the trick, BUT having the act re-performed on the 17th certainly WOULD!!!!! and anything around some days after the 17th! Congratulations...!

Yes, i got pregnant the last day of my period. I think it was just left over flow, and i guess i was ready for another egg to implant. We had sex only once that month and so we know it is possible to get prego when you still have a period flow.
Take a test... thats all i can say. Good luck!

Well I work at a hosptial lab and do preg tests all the time. Most tests are able to detect pregnancies within 7 to 10 days post conception. I am guessing you are probably not but try again about 4 to 5 days before your next period is due.

There's a slim chance you're pregnant, more probably you have an infection either way go to you gyno for tests. He'll run a pap and pregnancy and you can be sure. Infections left on there own can cause sterility, so if you aren't pregnant and want to conceive then it's definately something you should get treated.

Yes, you were ovulating...women who menstruate like clockwork such as yourself will ovulate 8-14 days after a period. It is very possible that you may be pregnant, you should take a pregnancy test if it is too soon then take another around the time you should be starting your next period...Good luck!

yes it is possible. If you are trying to get pregnant keep a couple of pregnancy tests handy and pee away!
As for you periods, it is normal for them to change as you hit your mid-30's. I am 36 and have seen this change in my periods also. I used to be so on time every month. As we get older the hormones start a natural change and our periods are effected. I know it stinks!
If you are tracking when you have your period and when you have sex, you can also track you ovulation to help you concieve. Something to look into perhaps.

Yes, you could be pregnant! I got pregnant the day after my period ended (I know that because I travel a lot for business, so can PINPOINT when it happened!). Sore breasts were the key for me...
Take a test!
Since you're trying to conceive, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!! : )

You are going to drive yourself crazy wondering every day until you know. Go buy a few tests and start testing every few days until it shows positive or you start your period. You will not be able to think of anything else until you know. Go to the store now, and then let us know.
