I have experienced a lot of things that i couldn't explain especially during my childhood, but then i couldn't explain much and still we can't explain everything. I don't know about ghosts but i guess it could be one explanation amongst several!

Ghosts and the paranormal. it will always remain a mystery and an obsession, many people will never in a million years experience ghostly encounters or experiences but many do. My dad came home freaked out from the pub once, he was not drunk in any way, he said he was tapped on the shoulder as he was in the pub, he turned around, nobody was there but he heard a delicate voice whisper in his ear "don't tell her". He can't understand it, he doesn't know why he was told that. Another experience when he was younger was when he was with friends at night, pitch black by the river Trent. all of a sudden they noticed across the river there was a black shadowy figure, lit up by the moonlight, something was glistening, shining, it looked like a knife in it's teeth or something, it came towards them and it made a splash as it crossed the water and chased them, they ran like hell! I do believe spirits exist, some are troubled and will be very hostile, there are poltergeists who tend to exist off the energy from a troubled teenager and will violently throw objects or even harm someone. some spirits will be there to guide us like deceased family members or just guardian angels, or some will be haunting a particular spot where something tragic happened to them and their life was cut short. It doesn't matter if anyone has experienced a ghostly encounter, nobody will ever be able to really explain it. We will never know until our time has come for our soul to leave our bodies, we will see.....

I was working in a nursing home and two of the residents, a married couple died within 3 months of one another. They shared room number 7 and were the owners parents. Anyway I was working the night shift and decided to give the room a spring clean as we were expecting a new resident. I stripped the beds, polished etc etc. As I walked out of the room I popped the door open to air it. I walked to a window ledge to arrange some flowers and something told me to turn around. As I did I saw the old lady sitting on the end of her bed. Believing that I was tired I turned around and looked again, she was still there. This time she smiled and then disappeared. I re-entered the room to put the flowers there and noticed that the new bed sheets were creased, just like somebody had been sitting on the bed. As I brushed the creases away with my hand I also noticed that the sheets were warm. I didn't tell anybody about this, and then about 3 weeks later another member of staff came into the staff room and blurted out, ' I have just seen a ghost in room number 7 '. I never saw her again, and to this day can't explain it.

So many times, it is not funny. Years ago I worked in a bank and there were 'things' happening all the time - purses hidden, papers moved, calendar would fall off the wall, etc - this would happen to everyone except me. I would feel a comforting hand on my shoulder, turn around and nobody was there. It bothered the Mgr so bad that she did some research on the building. Seems like it used to be an Ice Cream shop during my High School years and a boy was killed in the parking lot - and went to my school. The only thing we could determine is that he recognized me. I will never know for sure as I was quickly transferred (promotion).

Yes many times but one in particular still haunts me.
I awoke or i thought i awakened as i felt something moving on the bed as i turned around i saw this small dark shape and i grasped it by the throat.
It was the most hideous thing i have ever seen and the stench was awful and as i fought with it i looked to where i was asleep and there i lay still asleep but why was i here i heard myself saying.

Somehow i knew it was coming and i prepared for it, if i had not i would not be telling this to you now because whatever it was it was after my very existence so full of hatred.

Believe it or not it did happen and i would prefer not to read the nasty remarks that will be coming you never know you could be next!!!!!!.

Isn't life a paranormal activity??
Anywho- yes, I have had a few freaky experiences with what I will call demons, not ghosts. And know a few family and close friends who have had a few encounters with not only demons, but also angels. The cool thing is that if you feel something is trying to torment you or harm you, you can cast it out in the name of Jesus. My Uncle walked into his room and there was a demon about the same size as him in there and he said "In the name of Jesus, leave this home" and it went through the wall to the outside. My friend was fighting with her husband and she was about to hurt him with some thing off her kitchen counter and when she turned around to hit him there was a humongous angel in full armor with a white sword behind her husband and he was so tall his head and shoulders were through the ceiling. Needless to say she dropped what she was holding and just about passed out.

i havent ever experienced a ghost or anything but they are real. They are just spirits that died with something incompleted so they stay on earth. They finally leave earth when the thing that was not complete is complete. Most are perfectly peacful and harmless though unless you bug them a lot. Some are just grumy and mean but they usually wont acually harm you.

I don't know if this counts,but once I was with my mum in a car trying to turn right at a junction with traffic lights. The lights were changing to red and as we were over the line we were about to turn when I suddenly had an unexplained feeling that 5 cars were going to run the lights. I told my mum who stopped (but still told me not to be stupid) and the first 5 cars that came up ALL jumped the red light. Only ever happened that once but I still remember it as it scaredme a bit.

yes.....seen figure of old man in window for months when I was young. Heard voices and felt being touched on my feet. I was chocked. Heard a upright vacum cleaner being snapped back and forth while in bed. Heard a tuna can being kicked around at night.....All this when I was 5 to 9 years old. I was the only person home. I recently heard a person on TV say young children have special abilities and create all this them selves. I would never watch demon movies for years. Today I stay away from all that hockie crap. And pray to God

Long Story but i"ll keep it short.Every day on the way to school we met an old guy who always said HI and we petted his dog and onthe way home we said see you tomorrow and he always said hopefully god willing. On the day in question the seven samurai[the village coppers name for us?]stopped as usual but the old guy didn"t speak but just smiled but his eyes were cold if you know what i meen.Anyway at school i said to the playground supervisor that the old man didn"t look well she flipped and took off into the heads office WELL ALL HELL broke loose we were ushered into the office parents were called the vicar and police and the mad irish preist we were grilled and in no uncertain terms that no way could we have seen him as he died at mid-night.Well at 10 years old you can imagine our reaction ?i tell a lie it was brill everyone treated us like royalty pampering us and the like we loved it but i can tell u we always went round the top road to school after that
