Dude, I was watching the game last night and Dwight Howard is looking like the next Shaq for sure. It'll be interesting to see how he goes up against Shaq, Yao, Dirk and Duncan. Grant Hill's finally playing to his potential and injury-free, Jameer Nelson is an inside and outside threat. Then you have Darko and his blocked shots, Arroyo consisteltly scoring 15 off the bench and a host of other good reserve players and you've got the makings of a deep playoff team. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they went to the Eastern Conference Finals this year.

Dude they just lost to the lowly hawks last night. Go figure. The Magic ain't contending this year that's for sure.

But there is no stopping dwight howard. that kid is fast becoming an unstoppable force and he will be the next big thing, no doubt. just give him another year and a better supporting cast for him and the magic to make some noise in the east.

I think they have a great team this year, but the conference finals is a stretch. What Orlando is lacking is a great scorer that they can give it to in the clutch, and howard is developing into that. I'd say in 2-3 years when they get some expierence and possibly pick up a good free agent the are legit contenders.

Yeah. Dwight can guard Bosh, and supposedly he has more desirable a bounce shot! i do not understand if that's extremely authentic, they say this each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, yet when he has than he can be a miles better effective version of Bosh. Lewis desires to guard Lebron, he has the length to do it. Carter desires to guard Wade. obviously their crew desires to make their threes this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days besides. unlike very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days even as they completely choked lower than pressure. i trust Carter (the ultimate DUNKER EVA) may be the 20+ aspect scorer he develop into. He easily has the skill and ability. Nelson, desires to offer up capturing... or playing. he's too small and also a ball hog. As for the Lakers, with slightly of success they're ill of all their championships, and are in a giving mood for the period of playoff time. Their crew is kinda old, so with slightly of success the Magic can position self belief in some injuries. The Lakers are better, and guard better effective, so our important wish is to shoot threes. basically, in the journey that they shoot threes even as it comes playoff time, they are going to be contenders.

I love the Magic. I think they're a lock for the playoffs, but the conference finals? They'd have to get past the Nets, Bulls, Heat, Pistons, and Cavs first. I know they looked great last night, but remember its just the first game of the year.

You gotta remember it was their first game and da Bulls jus came off a beatdown on the bulls. Sure the Magic look good at the end of the season but right now I find it difficult to place them anywhere in the mix of Heat,Nets,Cavaliers,Pistons, and Bulls. Sure Grant Hill looks healthy right now but he always starts like dat every season. I might be wrong bout the magic but i thinnk its too early to be thinking of the magic as contenders when they havent proven anything yet.

I think they are a good team, no doubt. But, I also think they are a couple of years away from being true contenders. It just seems like they are missing one good player and one situational player. I'll say three years from being a 55 win team if they keep howard and not make stupid decisions.....

If Grant Hill can stay healthy, they have a chance to make a run in the NBA Playoffs.

they might be in the playoffs but won't go that far. I will say that they did look really good last night. Its a long season and their youth will show later on

LOL/LMAO actually I think your the only one who thinks they are a threat.Don't get all hyped up cause they won their first game. And if Aroyo got 15 points one game doesn't mean he'll do it everytime.

Good joke though, made me laugh
