My first child was just 4 hours and my second was 2 hours and my 3rd was 2 and a half hours. Each birth was different that the pain. ( I only used Demerol with my first and completely natural with the other 2) I had my first at 37 weeks, 2 at 38 weeks and my 3 at 37 weeks. I believe that each birth is different and it depends on how your pregnancy has gone. Also it also helps if you were active (fitness) during your pregnancy.

OK you have to come to grips with the reality that all pregnancies, births and babies are different.
Now with that being said, you can look at prior deliveries for reference. If you had a large baby the 1st time, you probably will the next. If you had a complication during delivery the 1st time, odds are high you may the next. You get the idea.
Typically speaking after the 1st delivery your body is now primed and ready for the next one, it should go faster and easier. But remember my 1st statement, they all can be different. My 2nd delivery was longer than my 1st, and delivery was more complicated. Go figure!
Relax and enjoy your pregnancy each step of the way, don't stress about the delivery, let nature take its course. In the end there's not much you can do to change whatever will happen. Enjoy the journey, don't stress over what-ifs.

Usual the second time the baby comes quicker. As to when they come, depends entirely on when the baby is ready. That is usual the right time. Good luck.Waiting on my new grandson right now. Was suppose to be a Halloween baby. Thinking now now he has other plans. Like celebrating Halloween then his birthday. Smart boy, I think.

Only two of my children were nearly 2 weeks late. Worst off, I was in labor for nearly two days each time. I was on time with my middle child, but was in labor for an entire day. It was exhausting.

my first child was on his due date after 13 hours of labor.
my second child was two days late after 8 hours of labor.
most of the time, the labor time does decrease with each child.
