every body calls some girls and guys the pops or the populars in school....in EVERY school they have them, and i know i cant escape from it, but y? i mean whats soooooo special about them and y are the known as the cool and popualr ones who all the guys want even tho they might not be pretty or smart or nice?

Popular people are always the loudest....they stick to each other, you can hear them in the hall a mile away. They are also the kids who are wild and will do anything for acceptance. Be it, smoking drinking drugs sex. Usually they are mean to each other behind their backs...

i dont beleive that anyone is more popular then everyone else. usually its other girls that want to be friends with the "pops" but dont get along with them that give them the name. the popular kids arent the ones that give them that title. its the girls or guys that feel like they arent as good or pretty as that person.

It just means everyone knows their names, for whatever reason. Some might be popular becasue they are rich, some might be good looking or they are simply popular for being mean and nasty. Popular doesn't mean well liked!
