May be they do not like a person there. or they do not like there jobs. There can be many things to make that happen.

Have you noticed that people that act uptight always are considered to be very busy people or maybe they have a lot of work and hence the attitude. The truth is that they are just trying to look busy so no one talks to them or ask them what they are working on. Funny, but true.

People dont' realise that most people are bitter, uptight and cranky most of the time because of lack of sex.
Most unknown reasons for divorces for fighting comes down to sexual frustration. It releases feel good chemicals in the brain.

They might not like their job. They might not have a happy family or they might just be on a dead line. Many things get people uptight.

everywhere u work, there are different personalities that u will encounter...the type A personality..those are the uptight ones usually, (like me) lol....they want everything done and done right, so just communicate with them and ur working relationship should be ok...

I agree with the lack of sex. And maybe the fact that they could be bitter about something in their own personal lives, thus making everyone else's lives miserable.
