Like George W. Bush: he's the dumbest president in the history of the US, he's as racist as President Nixon, he lies more than the Devil, and he steals more money than Death steals souls; and over it all, he's Republican; and everyone votes for him anyways. I'm sure you people on Yahoo! voted for Bush...

It's not that Republicans are negative, they just have a different point of view on situations. Democrats or Republicans aren't completely right about any issue that is addressed. I have noticed that people are so hard headed on issues because they are registered at Democrats or Republican. For example, a Republican may have the best solution to an issue and Democrats still will not vote for it because the representative is Republican (and vise versa). I think it is best to open your mind and take a look at the big picture and stop being so prejudiced towards political parties. Regardless if Bush is wrong, he is still our president. If people do not support him in any way, they do not support America. This is a very controversial question and in these situations, it is best to leave political affiliation out of the situation and look at the issues logically.

You know, I know many Democrats who are reasonable intelligent people. They do not like some things about the president's policies, but they separate the rhetoric from reality and make informed decisions. However, their views are being overshadowed by the hardcore left wing liberals who appear to be in control of the Democratic Party these days. What these extremists fail to realize is that insulting the other side does not win voters for your cause. The majority of country is moderate, they are looking for solutions not condemnations. Until liberals get away from the bashing and start talking about the issues they will continue to lose elections. Republicans may not be perfect, but they offer a vision of hope rather than one mired in hate. If you want to know why people keep voting for Republicans, just read your own post because it provides all the answers to your question.

Because republicans believe in the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, so people who are wealthy want him in office. Then you have the rednecks that are half retarded from inbreeding, so he just has to throw out the word "Jesus" a few times and they all flock to him.

People who voted for Bush are puppets. Most of them will never admit how wrong Bush is.
