Sounds like a plan to me!! Just turn the area into glass & let them all go to Muslim Heaven. They've been fighting since time out of mind & nothing WE say or do is going to change that. The peoples of those countries don't care if the fighting stops, either. What exactly are we trying to do? Set up a more democratic government for people who really don't give a rip?! Pull out now, nuke the place & make the rest of the world safe for democracy!!
woo hoo!! We can't turn it into anything cos the nukes would make the place toxic. We could make it a prison & send anybody else who tries to screw with the US over there . . . wont' take long & then they won't be anymore trouble, would they? lol

I think your solution is rather biased. It's like saying that if 2 out of ten smokers refuse to stop smoking in a smoking section because a non-smoker is sitting there, then all smokers should be killed. (second-hand smoke is a real health issue). Maybe you should think about your flaws and ask yourself if you'd like everyone who thinks or feels the way you do about something unpopular be put to death.

While that is an interesting proprosition and would certainly end violence in the middle east, there would still be violence from the immigrants around the world that were from or had relatives there.
